Roman Sculptures is a range of products that sit at the very top end of the showering market, officially launched at the KBB exhibition in Birmingham, after being first revealed at Expo 2005.
The styling and features of this new collection is a first for the UK shower market. All Roman Sculptures products have 10mm thick toughened glass, and are located together by chrome plated brass joints, then finished using an efficient sealing system utilising a clear water-resistant sealant.
Hinged door products come with chrome plated, solid brass, water tight hinges, and beautifully curved handles, while all fittings are neatly covered to achieve a stylish minimalist look. The Hinged door locates directly onto a seal instead of a ball-catch, utilising the self-closing hinges to ensure easy and smooth closing.
This unique collection also has 8-10mm of adjustment available at each wall fixing from a first-of-its-kind sleek clamping wall profile system. This feature is designed to offers some flexibility of installation in situations such as odd-shaped bathrooms, or out-of-line walls.
Also included among the first phase products are the Corner and Linear Panels which are ideal for creating a true wetroom. A panel can provide the ideal solution to any bathroom, especially when space is at a premium, as you are not restricted by the size of an Enclosure. The panels are supported using with polished stainless steel bracing bars ensuring minimal framing. For the more generously proportioned bathroom using a larger panel in a wetroom situation simulates a luxurious spa and gives unrestricted access to everyone, resulting in an ultra-modern minimalist look.
The Walk-in Enclosure is the final product in the first phase of Roman’s Sculptures collection and will be the ultimate centrepiece of any contemporary bathroom.
Measuring 1700mm x 800mm it is an ideal bath replacement with its clean, straight lines offering a massive showering area. The Enclosure can be fit straight to floor in a Wetroom situation or into Roman’s low-level trays. The low-level tray comes complete with an integrated removable drying area, which is designed with a geometric pattern to match the drain grid and prepared from the same material as the tray to ensure durability. The glass panels are located into grooves along the low-level shower tray, specially designed for this collection, while the integrated drain grid sits flush with the tray.
