The 2,000 sq. ft. Showroom displays key products from the Roman’s brochures including the Orbital, Wetrooms, Collage and Jupiter ranges of Shower Enclosures and Bath Screens, as well as the recently launched Roman Sculptures collection. Alongside these, visitors will also see the Roman Waterfall collection of Valves and Shower Heads as well as Roman’s attractive range of stylish accessories.
The Showroom, which is not open to the general public, is available for retailers, housebuilders, and other organisations within the bathroom industry. Roman has also set up a Training Area within the Showroom where visitors can be given extensive expert tuition about the key selling points of the products through verbal and practical demonstrations.
In this facility retailers can learn about such things as Roman’s ‘Truelife’ lifetime guarantee, which covers all Bath Screens and Shower Enclosures for the products life. Unlike many guarantees in the marketplace, this is service backed by a team of Roman Technical Engineers. The retailer can then take this in-depth knowledge and use it as a selling tool to the end user.
Similarly they can learn key selling points about the actual design of the enclosures, such as products which give easy access. Roman’s award-winning low-level trays are an example of this – they are ideal for the less able, yet aren’t institutional in appearance.
It is this sort of crucial information that can point customers in the right direction when it comes to finding the perfect product to suit their bathrooms.
As well as receiving product training on key selling points, retailers can also receive useful training on the installation of Roman products. For those retailers who would find this useful, the enclosures can be dismantled from their back-wall display setting, the retailer then has the opportunity to install it from scratch.
Roman is also adding a showroom to its newly-extended Daventry distribution centre to offer a similar service for retailers in the South of the country who may have difficulty in travelling to the North East for the full factory tour. This showroom is due to be opened later this year.
Roman’s Managing Director, David Osborne, said: “This facility enables people within the bathroom industry to have a closer look at Roman’s range of products, but it also enables them to receive expert training and advice on everything from installation techniques to the key selling points of individual products. This will ensure customers get the very best expert advice and receive the best possible service tailored to their own needs.”
