Maintaining Your Roman Enclosure / Bath Screen
Roman Shower Enclosures and Bath Screens are designed for luxury showering and with care and attention you can keep them looking new for longer.
Roman strongly recommend the use of Roman Ultra Care. Ultra Care is designed to give all your enclosure and bathroom surfaces a long-lasting sparkle. The benefit of Ultra Care is the more you spray, the more you protect. Ultra Care is a multi-purpose glass protector that repels the build-up of grime, lime scale and stains. Roman Ultra Care was developed for Roman shower enclosures and screens, although with its unique and effective non-filming formula it can be used on all glass surfaces, tiles, shower seals and aluminium frames, taps, trays and baths.
Ultra Care Directions of Use
To achieve a sparklingly flawless finish simply spray the Roman Ultra Care evenly over the surface

Wipe with a clean soft cloth using a circular motion

Polish the surface with a dry cloth to achieve maximum shine

Alternatively, after use it is advisable to wipe all water droplets and residue from the glass surfaces of your Enclosure - a window "squeegee" is ideal for this task. This is particularly important in hard-water areas where lime scale build up is likely if water is left on the smooth glass surface for extended periods of time.
Occasionally:
- Wipe your Roman Enclosure with a mild detergent diluted with water and polish with a soft cloth. Ensure all running tracks and wheel mechanisms are kept clear of obstructions and are wiped to remove soap residue.
- In hard water areas, clean your enclosure with a 50/50 solution of warm water and white vinegar and soak for five minutes. Remove any lime scale residue by rinsing with warm water.
- Clean the seals of your enclosure with an anti-bacterial spray.
- This is all you require to keep the glass, seals and coated / anodised aluminium parts looking new.
Do Not:
- Use acidic based de-scaler products or products which are unsuitable for cleaning enamel surfaces, including abrasive cleaners or cleaners containing bleach or solvents, as these products will affect both the anodised and coated framework.
- Use scouring powder or pads or sharp instruments when cleaning the Enclosure.
