Barn Conversion Make-Over
The Brief
Roman assisted with a Barn Conversion project in North Yorkshire. Originally cow byres and piggery the building was split into 6 plots with the largest plot the subject of this renovation. The first floor consisted of 4 bedrooms, the master with an en-suite wetroom and dressing room and a family bathroom.
The family were keen to include a wetroom to give a dramatic look in their en-suite and to fuse modern design with traditional features. The overall effect of the wetroom set in a room with exposed beams offers a real stand out unique finish. The family were extremely please with how the wetroom made such good use of the space.
The family were keen to retain a bath in their main family bathroom, but they installed a bath screen for an over bath showering solution. This gives them an additional showering facility for the morning rush. They chose a luxurious power shower approved bath screen, so they could still indulge in a powerful shower whilst over the bath.
